Hey guys, just wanted to write this journal after one of my friends brought this to my attention.
One of her friends is having a really hard time at home right now. Her grandparents are very sick and she's trying to raise money to help pay some of the bills.
I thought I would share this as a way of reaching out and promoting her.
Check out this journal for more info:

Aguirre: Der Zorn Gottes
Hey everyone!
So it's January now, and I have resumed my University studies. As part of my final semester before I graduate to finish my German minor, we are taking a class on German films in the latter half of the 20th century. This week we were shown one particular masterpiece: Aguirre: Der Zorn Gottes (Aguirre: The Wrath of God), written and directed by Werner Herzog.
A quick synopsis of the movie: in the mid-16th century, Spanish conquistadors trek through the Peruvian mountains and Amazonian basin in search for the mystical city of gold "El Dorado". In this van of conquistadors and indian slave porter is Aguirre, who, after a number of
Kaiserreich!
Hey everyone!
So, for the past year, my favorite gaming pastime has been Paradox's "Hearts of Iron IV" - a WW2 era strategy game where the player takes control of a historic nation and leads them down whatever destiny they wish, all the while managing the economy, navy/arms production and balancing the scope of politics and diplomacy.
Anyway, last month, I finally wanted to see what was all the fuss over the "Kaiserreich" mod. Kaiserreich is an alternate history - set during the same period as the base game - where Germany and her allies won WW1 and reshaped the world to their desire.
I have to say, I was curious, but after doing a few pla
Dunkirk: A Review
Let me preface this by saying I am no cinema expert. I have never gone to school for cinematography and have only had a brief introduction to movies as an art. I write entirely from a layman’s perspective, and felt obliged to do so, because I think the critics have gotten this movie so wrong.
When I entered my local cinema to watch Dunkirk, I was excited. As a history buff and a fan of action films in general, I thought that a movie that explored one of the lesser-known events of the Second World War was going to be a treat. What I got was as traumatic as this event should have been to those who went through it, and for all the wrong r

A shout out to *Chaosfive-55 (https://www.deviantart.com/chaosfive-55) for introducing me to Archer and its wonderfully esoteric comedy. ^^
